Event Description

Step into the world of shibari-inspired rope bondage with our Rope 101 workshop!

This introductory course is perfect for adults who are curious about exploring the basics of rope bondage in a fun and supportive environment. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn.

The workshop is from 7 - 9 PM, with open space to practice and connect from 9 - 10:30 PM.

What to Expect

• Introduction to Rope Play: Learn some of the history, philosophy, why people engage with this practice, and safety considerations of rope play.
• Basic Knots and Ties: Hands-on practice to gain knowledge of single and double column ties, as well as a basic understanding of friction & tension. You will be well on your way to developing your own practice!
• Building Trust and Communication: Techniques for establishing trust and clear communication with your partner, including negotiations and aftercare.
