Being a person can be exhausting; being a thing can be thrilling!
This class explores the world of object play, where consenting humans are treated like nonthinking objects, from furniture like footstools and charcuterie boards to art objects like altars and looms to humanoid figures like dress-up dolls and emotionless drones.
We’ll get into why this play can be so fun, an array of ready-made scene ideas, and tips for safe and effective play for tops and bottoms, while demonstrating techniques in real time with our own human object.
Dagger DesChiennes (she/her) is a professional kinkster with 9+ years of experience based in the Hudson Valley, New York. She has presented at Dark Odyssey, International Ms Leather and Bootblack, the International Pet and Trainer Contest, Folsom Street East, and over a dozen orgs all over the Northeast United States and held the title Northeast Pet 2024. She is an avid community organizer and volunteer, serving as cofounder and board member of petplay group Hudson Valley Kennel Club.
