Event Description

Join the Community Gear Clean at Less Dead with local educator and Bootblack, Dio (@pupdio). No experience necessary!

Gear Cleaning History & 101, 1–2pm

Learn the skills, science, and techniques of Bootblacking and its importance in the kink and leather community.

Hands-On Practice, 2–3pm

Clean your gear with guidance from Dio and support from the community!

If you want to participate:

• Please bring 1–3 items to clean (leather, nubuck, suede, or faux leather), clean rags/an old towel, something to take notes with, and (optional) your leather cleaning supplies.
• We will provide some supplies, but you may have to wait/share.
